Gillian Simmons is an LA based latina designer. She has had a passion for design from the age of fifteen that stemmed from her love for collage work. She tries to use that same technique of physical cut & paste for inspiration in most of her designs. Mariposa Mijita is a nod to her great grandmother, Irma, her muse por todo.
